Car News For The Week Of July 5-9

 Hello car people out there. I'm dom, and each week I will be making a blog about the most interesting and exciting car news of the week. Whether it be a reveal, a start of production, or a movie being released, it will be covered here.


Monday, July 5


There was not a ton of automotive news on Monday. The big thing was that Rimac announced that it now owns 55% (the majority stake) in Bugatti. LEGO also introduced its new F-150 Raptor set, and Genesis unveiled the new G80 Sport.

Tuesday, July 6


Tuesday was full of reveals. Pictured above is the new BMW 2 series coupe. Lotus also unveiled the Emira, its latest vehicle following the Evija. Bentley, meanwhile showed off the new Flying Spur Hybrid. Even Peugeot got in on the action revealing their new hypercar, the 9X8.

Wednesday, July 7


On Wednesday, Lamborghini unveiled the final Aventador: The LP 780-4 Ultimae. Ram introduced the Laramie and Rebel G/T, while Volkswagen presented the new Golf R Wagon. Ford also revealed the Maverick's tow numbers, which were disappointingly low.

Thursday, July 8


Thursday of this week should've been nicknamed Stellantis teaser day. Jeep teased the Grand Cherokee 4xe, as well as the new electric Wrangler. Meanwhile, Dodge teased a new electric muscle car, and Ram teased the new 1500 electric.

Friday, July 9

Unfortunately, fridays are usually days where automakers and news outlets slack off in tersm of news and reveals, and today was no exception.
